Owner wraps his Cybertruck in Pearl White, installs customizations, Tesla logos, and shares the cost

Tesla Cybertruck owners don’t buy the electric pickup truck just for the sake of the EV revolution — they also want to flex it to show their individuality and the love for futuristic design.

Some users opt to go even beyond that by customizing the look of their Cybertrucks. Pictures of one such Cybertruck were posted on Reddit lately.

Reddit user u/keithschmidt wrapped his Cybertruck in Pearl White with a colored paint protection film (PPF). He also applied ceramic coating above the PPF color to protect it for the long term.

Pearl White PPF color and ceramic coating cost him a hefty $5,000. But he didn’t stop here, he also made a number of other customizations to his Cybertruck (details and costs below).

Pearl White color on Cybertruck with ceramic coat gives a shiny and fluid look to the exterior. Compared to the Matte White that was used by NFL NY Giants’ Isiah Simmons is much different and better-looking of the two IMO.

However, the Pearl White isn’t looking bad on the Cybertruck either. Bedsides the PPF and ceramic coat, the owner added the following customizations to his Cybertruck as well:

  • Pearl White PPF + ceramic coating – $5,000
  • Window tint – $600
  • Windshield tint – $1,000
  • Brake calipers painted – $600
  • Trunk bed ceramic coating – $300
  • Carbon fiber accents and emblem stickers- $300
  • Total cost of Cybertruck mods: $7,800

Yes, you read it right — the owner installed aftermarket Tesla logos and emblems on his PPF-wrapped Pearl White Cybertruck. To make them stand out, he chose the carbon fiber/black color for these embellishments.

Tesla Cybertruck does not have a Tesla T logo anywhere on the truck as it comes out of the factory. We have seen the first owner who used both the T logo on the front trunk (frunk) and TESLA wordmark on the rear trunk.

Only the Cybertruck Tri-Motor performance motor aka the Cyberbeast has a 3-headed wolf beast emblem on the rear trunk lid that identifies the top-end variant. We spotted this emblem first on DJ Steve Aoki’s Cyberbeast delivered earlier this year.

Cybertruck’s body is made of stainless steel and it comes with the metal’s original color when delivered to the customers. It’s up to their choice to stay raw or go for a color wrap.

Tesla officially offers 11 different viny wrap colors at its select stores and service centers. Before starting deliveries, Tesla wrapped the Cybertruck prototypes in various colors and patterns like the blue pixel, camouflage, and even mocked Toyota Tundra and Ford F-150.

The outcomes of the Tesla Cybertruck customizations are interesting and exciting as well. Stay tuned for more.
