On this past weekend (Sat July 29 – Sun July 30), thousands of Tesla and EV owners gathered at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California for the annual Tesla Takeover event.
The event was joined by prominent influencers of the Tesla social media community including YouTubers/TikTokers who play a crucial part in the EV revolution movement.
The featured guest of the 2023 Tesla Takeover grand meetup was none other than Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s decorated mother Maye Musk. She joined the event as the keynote speaker and attendees got a chance to meet her in person.
“Thank you Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley for inviting me for the Tesla Takeover. I’ve had a fabulous day, and very excited for everything that you do,” Maye Musk said after attending the event. The Tesla Community also thanked Maye for her support.
Maye Musk is not only known for being a mother of super-successful entrepreneur Elon Musk, she has a set of her own achievements as well. She herself is an accomplished model, world-reknowned dietician, entrepreneur and best-selling book author.
Maye has written the book “A Woman Makes A Plan”. This book has garnered widespread acclaim as she tells her story of her struggle raising successful kids who brought significant change to the world that we live in today.
At this year’s Tesla Takeover this past weekend, Maye Musk talked about her venturesome life, building a career in multiple disciplines, and simultaneously raising successful children. A true role model for the American woman.
“Thank you Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley for inviting me to talk about my book, my adventurous life, and Tesla. I absolutely loved the audience’s enthusiasm. My book signing included car parts, a baby’s shirt and stroking a frunk bunny. Fun,” Maye tweeted.
Maye Musk openly met with the Tesla Takeover attendees and personally signed the books that her fans bought at the event. Thanks to her down to Earth nature, she never resonated a single vibe that she’s the mother of the world’s richest man.
Interestingly, one other prominent personality of the Tesla Community also visited Tesla Takeover in California — the vehicle teardown titan, Sandy Munro.
Sandy Munro is considered a legend when it comes to his vast experience in the automotive industry. At several points in time, even Tesla (TSLA) consulted Sandy Munro on various projects and to solve engineering problems.
On meeting 1-on-1 with Maye Musk, Sandy Munro expressed how amazed he was to have such a moment in life. Maye Musk also said that she loves everything that Sandy does for the automotive engineering community and Tesla fans.
