Cybertruck spotted with a blue-pixel pattern wrap, Tesla might just offer wraps as a premium option

Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, California seems to be coming up with some creative ideas to make the Cybertruck more attractive. Every few days, we get to see a Cybertruck wrapped in a new color or pattern and like the vehicle itself, the wrap gets a polarized feedback from the Tesla Community.

The speed and variation at which Tesla is pumping out these patter and color-wrapped Cybertrucks, it is fairly possible that Tesla is teasing a premium option here. Instead of paint options, Tesla will most probably offer different preset wraps for the Cybertruck.

It will not be the first time that Tesla officially offers wraps to its customers. In 2020, Tesla started offering custom vehicle wraps to its customers in China. The same business model can be replicated in North America for the Cybertruck.

Because of a stainless steel body, painting the Cybertruck in different colors is not a viable option, hence we get the color and pattern wraps. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in the past that the Cybertruck can be wrapped in any color or pattern.

Eureka! Musk just gave his design team a great new idea — create official Cybertruck wraps. Tesla even got ample time on its hands to create these wraps and measure feedback as the deliveries kept getting delayed. But finally, the Cybertruck deliveries are happening this year and according to some Tesla employees, Cybertrucks will start going to customers as soon as October 2023.

Tesla recently also used these wraps to troll other automakers such as Ford and Toyota by wrapping the Cybertruck as a Ford F-150 and a Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

This all started with a camouflage-wrapped Cybertruck which was first seen in California but later on multiple Cybertrucks were wrapped in the same pattern. One of them was even shipped to New Zealand for cold-weatehr testing and validation.

So, Tesla has yet again experimented with another Cybertruck wrap — a pattern showing a combination of dark and sky blue pixels. This wrap looks like an image that has been zoomed-in enough to show each pixel separately. Personally, this is by far my favorite Tesla Cybertruck wrap.

A Tesla enthusiast (@kjoule11 / Twitter) spotted the pixel-wrapped Cybertruck while he was driving on the Interstate 880 in California on Wednesday. He got the opportunity to take a picture and a couple of videos of this specific Cybertruck.

This pixel wrap of the Cybertruck so far has received positive responsive from the Tesla Community. However, we have to keep our fingers crossed to which ones Tesla offers in its online car configurator when deliveries start next month or before the end of this year.
