Tesla (TSLA) has started the wide release of the OTA software update version 2024.2.9. This new Tesla update was first started to roll out on Tuesday (11th March) but the deployment was slow.
Yesterday, the tech & AI automaker sent a large wave of the 2024.2.9 OTA update. The release notes of this point release are the same as the previous 2025.2.8 update (source: TeslaFi.com). However, Tesla mentioned ‘minor fixes and improvements’ in the summary of this update.
This new update is rolled out to Model 3, Y, S, X, and the Cybertruck vehicles across the globe. The 2025.2.9 OTA update is bundled with the FSD (Supervised) v13.2.8 for beta testers in the US & Canada.

Audio Issues in 2025.2
Multiple Tesla owners, along with Cybertruck’, have reported issues with their audio experience after installing the main 2025.2 and its subversion point releases still haven’t fixed the issue, including the latest 2025.2.9.
According to a Tesla Cybertruck owner, the volume of audio system has decreased significantly since the 2025.2 update. Now he has to up the volume to at least 75% to listen to Apple Music comfortably.
Other Tesla owners of Model Y and other vehicles also reported the same issue since installing this update. A Cybertruck owner wrote on X (Twitter):
Anyone else on 2025.2.9 and notice music is much quieter? Usually 50% volume is pretty loud. Now it’s kinda quiet and I’m going to 75% volume to even start feeling bass but it’s still not loud.
With the amount of Tesla owners reporting audio issues with the 2025.2 and its point releases must have triggered alert with the Tesla software development team. Most likely, these issues will be fixed in an upcoming OTA update. Stay tuned as we will be reporting on future updates on this matter.
