Tesla (TSLA) stock price has gone down by $138.60 (-36.54%) year-to-date (YTD). Thanks to the aftermath of Tesla CEO Elon Musk taking the charge of the United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The company has suffered a massive loss in market capitalization. Just last November, Musk’s company crossed the $1 trillion market cap. With the recent negative events and protests against him and Tesla, the market cap has dropped to around $754 billion.
All of these efforts are part of the grassroots campaign named Tesla Takedown. It’s aimed at bringing Tesla stock price down and hurting Elon Musk’s other companies as well.
As part of these efforts, a man from Seattle went out of his way. He bought a white Tesla Model S just to destroy it for the sake of anti-Elon Musk and anti-Tesla protest. Multiple protesters used hammers and axes to damage this vehicle bought for protest.

Some media outlets reported this incident as vandalism against Tesla. But as we can see in the video above, he clearly says that he bought this vehicle to destroy it.
The entire Tesla Model S is covered in slogans and graffiti against Elon Musk and Tesla. Additional signboards with the same narrative were attached to the vehicle as well.
This vehicle is an old model of a Tesla Model S electric sedan, which might already have been a totaled vehicle, he bought for a dirt-cheap price.
Just a short distance from this destruction of a Tesla protest, two Cybertrucks caught fire and were completely burnt. Investigations of an arson are ongoing for this incident.
“Boycott Tesla, Starlink, X, and SpaceX products, services, & stocks,” the sign board on the damaged Tesla read.
This was presented as vandalism online, but turns out the guy actually bought it just to destroy it
