Tesla (TSLA) started the rollout of its latest over-the-air AI software update FSD v14.3.5 on Monday, July 13. This new Full Self-Driving point release comes with the firmware version 2026.20.6.6.

The automaker did not add anything new that’s FSD-specific to the release notes of the FSD v14.3.5 (2026.20.6.6), but added a new Camera Preview feature.

Tesla FSD users with the new update version 14.3.5 can now take a live look at each of the 8 or 9 camera feeds (depending on car model and bumper camera equipped or not). Read the release notes below to know how to use this feature.

The Camera Preview feature was first introduced in 2023 with the software update version 2023.20.4.1. However, before the 2026.20.6.6 (FSD v14.3.5) update, the feature could be used while the car was in Park.

As Tesla is relaxing human supervision monitoring with each new update, the automaker has now enabled looking at your cameras on the center display screen while the vehicle is driven by Full Self-Driving AI.

When you select the Camera Preview option during FSD, a 9-box grid appears with live camera feeds on the right side of the screen. You can select any camera from the grid including the interior cabin camera to enlarge the live video feed view.

Camera Previews are available for the following cameras:

  • Front Main Camera
  • Front Wide Camera
  • Front Bumper Camera (2025+ Model Y or Cybertruck)
  • Two Side Repeater Cameras (left and right fenders)
  • Two B-Pillar Cameras (left and right door pillars)
  • Rear-View / Reverse Camera
  • Interior Cabin Camera

FSD v14.3.5 (2026.20.6.6) Rollout Status

FSD v14.3.5 (2026.20.6.6) was first seen on non-employee Tesla cars on Monday, July 13, 2026. However, as of this writing, after three days of it’s release, the update is still a limited release.

Tracking data from TeslaFi and Tessie shows that the FSD v14.3.5 update has reached less than 1% of the Tesla fleet.

It’s important to remember that the FSD v14.3.5 (2026.20.6.6) software update is only available to Hardware 4 (HW4/AI4) Tesla vehicles. Looking at the rollout data, Tesla owners in both the United States and Canada are getting this new update (a slow rollout as of now).

Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14.3.5 includes:

  • Upgraded the Reinforcement Learning (RL) stage of training the FSD neural network, resulting in improvements in a wide variety of driving scenarios.
  • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, improving understanding in rare and low-visibility scenarios, strengthening 3D geometry understanding, and expanding traffic sign understanding.
  • Rewrote the AI compiler and runtime from the ground up with MLIR2, resulting in 20% faster reaction time and improving model iteration speed.
  • Mitigated unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behaviors.
  • Increased decisiveness of parking spot selection and maneuvering.
  • Improved parking location pin prediction, now shown on a map with a (P) icon.
  • Enhanced response to emergency vehicles, school buses, right-of-way violators, and other rare vehicles.
  • Improved handling of small animals by focusing RL1 training on harder examples and adding rewards for better proactive safety.
  • Improved traffic light handling at complex intersections with compound lights, curved roads, and yellow light stopping – driven by training on hard RL examples sourced from the Tesla fleet.
  • Improved handling for rare and unusual objects extending, hanging, or leaning into the vehicle path by sourcing infrequent events from the fleet.
  • Improved handling of temporary system degradations by maintaining control and automatically recovering without driver intervention, reducing unnecessary disengagements.
  • Unified the model between Actually Smart Summon, FSD, and Robotaxi for more capable and reliable behavior.
  • Actually Smart Summon max speed is now increased to 8mph (13km/h).
  • Help Tesla improve Self-Driving by selecting an intervention reason on the main screen after taking over.
  • You can now see distance traveled in FSD (Supervised) without an intervention. The Self-Driving App will also show your longest intervention-free streak.
