Tesla has updated the door panel design of the 2021 Tesla Model 3 in addition to the design refresh changes that the automaker made late last year.
Tesla has basically modified the design of the interior door panels as well. Now the door panels include a trim design in both Standard All Black and Premium Black & White interior options. Previously, these trims were not present at all, just plain black door panels.
In the $1,000 premium option, this door panel trim is in white color same as the dash.
The Standard All Black Model 3 interior option now has a door wood trim that matches the dashboard trim texture. Actually, it looks like a continuity of the dashboard wood trim extending to 1/2 of the front doors. The silver top and bottom borders add a contemporary touch to this new door trim design.
One of our Twitter followers Baby Tesla (@BabyTesla3) visited the Palm Springs-Cathedral City, CA Tesla Store and took the following stunning photos of the new Model 3 wood door trim.
“New Model 3 door panel! Looks insanely good and felt great,” said Baby Tesla when he saw the new door panel design on this Model 3. Seems like Tesla has started deliveries with this new wooden door panel design. Since Tesla cars are usually first delivered to California residents, this was sure to be spotted in the Tesla home state.
“I just checked out the brand new door panel on the Model 3! Here are my thoughts! Photos don’t do the new door panels justice. They look incredibly good in person. The aluminum on the top and bottom of the wood creates a premium feel unlike any Model 3 before it. 10/10,” Baby Tesla shared his feelings about the new door panels on Twitter.
