Elon Musk shares Floki as a frunk puppy in a new picture, then Dogecoin rises

Tesla & SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has fallen in love with Shiba Inu dogs, courtesy of his favorite cryptocurrency Dogecoin. A few weeks ago, he bought a Shiba Inu dog which he named Floki (Loki is his favorite character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe btw).

Elon Musk had shared Floki’s first photo when he arrived at his place. This pic of his personal pet was most probably taken at Musk’s ~$50k mobile home that nobody seems to have a clue of where it is located.

Of course, this cute pic of Floki spread like wildfire on social media and major press outlets also covered it last month. In the same Twitter thread where Musk shared this picture, Twitter influencer Earl of FrunkPuppy asked Elon Musk to put Floki in the frunk of a Tesla car, “Will do!,” Musk replied.

Earl of FrunkPuppy (@28delayslater / Twitter) is a Tesla enthusiast account basically famous for sharing pictures of dogs and small puppies in the frunk (front trunk) of Teslas.

After about two weeks, Musk fulfilled his promise and posted the following pic of Floki enjoying his time in the frunk of a Tesla. This car looks like a Tesla Model S but can be a Model X too. The billionaire CEO of Tesla previously owned and drove a black Model S but might have upgraded to the latest 2021 Tesla Model S design refresh in white color.

As soon as Elon Musk shared this photo with the world, the price of Dogecoin started to rise. Musk has previously admitted that he is working with the developers of Dogecoin for making it less resource-intensive and sustainable in the long run.

This picture perhaps reinstates his commitment to DOGE, therefore the price started to rise. However, the price of Dogecoin has started to stabilize after this short burst.

Earlier in February this year, Elon Musk said that he has bought some Dogecoin for his youngest son X Æ A-Xii.

Following this, Musk made a an offer to major Dogecoing holders (whales) if they sell most of their coins, he would fully support the meme-based cryptocurrency. But Musk’s proposal did not entice the whales — at all.
