On Monday, June 1, Tesla (TSLA) offered a fleet of used Cybertrucks on its inventory website. Interestingly, within hours, the entire inventory was sold out.
Just 5-6 hours after news of available Cybertruck inventory broke on social media, users started reporting they couldn’t see any used units on the website.
The automaker also did not post an official announcement on the availability of used Cybertrucks at discounted prices. The inventory also had a good number of Foundation Series Cybertrucks available to purchase.
It’s always a privilege to own a Foundation Series Tesla; Cybertruck is no exception. That’s one of the reasons the inventory sold out so quickly: there were several Foundation Series Cybertrucks available for sale.
A Tesla owner shared that he cancelled his new Cybertruck order to buy the Foundation Series from the inventory.

Price Range of Used Cybertrucks
Since the inventory got sold out in just a few hours, it’s now almost impossible to tell how many used Cybertrucks were available for sale. However, it’s interesting to know the pricing of these pickup trucks.
Cybertruck Foundation Series was launched with both the Dual-Motor and Tri-Motor options. Both powertrains are All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The inventory also had non-foundation Tri-Motor Cyberbeast variants as well.
The lowest price found was to be $66,200 on a Foundation Series Cybertruck (Dual-Motor) with 2,566 miles on the odometer. The most expensive option was a used Cyberbeast at $94,800 with 5,256 miles on it.
Most of the prices fell between $66K to $72K for All-Wheel Drive variants, including Foundation Series. The higher-trim Cyberbeast Cybertrucks were priced between $85K to $86K.
A new Dual-Motor base Cybertruck starts at $69,990. So, the Foundation Series with a $66K price tag was a good bargain, and a once-in-a-lifetime chance of getting the premium badge to brag about.
The new Tri-Motor Cyberbeast starts at $99,990. Getting a slightly used Cyberbeast at $86K saved at least $14K. The massive discount led to the fast drain of the Cybertruck inventory.
Another factor was the almost immediate delivery of these inventory Cybertrucks. For new orders, the Cybertruck online configurator is showing an estimated delivery date of August to September.
There were three key factors in the super-fast sales of the inventory Cybertrucks:
- Discounted pricing
- Foundation Series badge
- Immediate delivery
Free FSD and Supercharging
The original Foundation Series Cybertrucks came with a lifetime package of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD). However, with the inventory trucks, Tesla limited this to only 3 months or only 1 month of free FSD subscription on the Foundation Series.
For the non-Foundation Cybertrucks, Tesla only gave 1 month of free FSD on some trucks, and only included the Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) on the others. It was a mixed bag; every inventory Cybertruck had different options for FSD and Supercharging.
Only a few inventory Cybertrucks had 1 month of free Supercharging included. The rest had no such option. Getting a massive discount in pricing meant stripping off these perks, which are otherwise included for life in the Luxe Package on new orders.
