Before pouring all his money into an electric vehicle company (Tesla) and a space venture (SpaceX) — the web was where he started his career as an entrepreneur. Now, fast-forward 23 years later, the same man, Elon Musk is back to the internet business after achieving success with extreme engineering. Earlier this month, he made an offer to buy the social media giant Twitter, Inc. for $54.20 a share.

Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter also chipped in his 2 cents on Elon Musk’s acquisition of his company. “I love Twitter. Twitter is the closest thing we have to a global consciousness,” Jack said, “solving for the problem of it being a company, however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness,” he added.
