Millionaire realtor and TV show host Jason Oppenheim recently tried Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) for the first time and was awestruck by its safety capabilities.
He was so impressed that FSD handled most of his driving on the streets of Los Angeles, California. After using Tesla FSD for a while, Jason decided to give each of his 10 employees a Tesla with Full Self-Driving activated.
Jason also convinced his brother to buy a Tesla car with FSD. He also plans to buy Teslas for older family members to improve their on-road safety.
“FSD is 8 times safer than an average driver, and 25 times safer than a distracted driver,” Jason said.
He confessed in his Instagram video that he is a distracted driver, as he uses his phone for texting and calls while driving.
Using FSD daily, Jason feels much safer than he did in his previous Bentley. According to Jason, he will never use the Bentley again for the sake of his and other road users’ safety.
Remember that the current Full Self-Driving AI version 14 and its point-release branches require human supervision. FSD (Supervised) requires a human driver to pay attention to the road and be ready to take over if FSD makes a mistake in its judgment of a situation.
According to Jason, if you truly love your loved ones, you should ask them or even buy them a Tesla vehicle with FSD for providing maximum safety.
Even if Full Self-Driving is not activated on a Tesla vehicle, the following Active Safety features are always on the lookout for a safety incident:
- Automatic Emergency Braking
- Forward Collision Warning
- Blind-Spot Collision Warning
- Lane Departure Avoidance
Tesla FSD Becoming a Sales Driver
Just as Jason realized that Teslas using FSD are the safest cars on the road, slowly, more and more people will wake up to this realization.
This safety phenomenon, driven by iterative improvements through over-the-air software updates, is the ultimate edge Tesla now has over other automakers.
As more people become aware of this, Tesla FSD will become the automaker’s main sales driver.
Tesla now has billions of miles of real-world driving data from millions of cars to train its Full Self-Driving AI Vision. Traditional car companies have totally lost on this technology front.
