Tesla (TSLA) has begun the rollout of the FSD v14.2.2.2 (2025.45.7) update. This new Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software update came just days after the FSD v14.2.2 (2025.45.5) point release.

Looks like the Tesla AI team is burning the midnight oil during the end-of-year holidays as well. The FSD v14.2.2 update dropped just before Christmas Day.

However, when Tesla owners tested this update, there were issues found with Grok Navigation Commands, false braking, and minor problems. Tesla AI development team quickly responded to feedback and has started to deploy FSD v14.2.2.2 just a few hours ago.

FSD v14.2.2 (2025.45.5) is still the most widely-released FSD v14 version as of this writing. The transition to FSD v14.2.2.2 (2025.45.7) update has been slow as of yet, but it will most probably take over the previous update as a wide release in the next few days.

The official release notes for both FSD v14.2.2 and v14.2.2.2 are the same. However, compared to the previous FSD v14.2.1.25, Tesla has added a new line about interior camera visibility and attention monitoring sensitivity.

Unlike the previous updates, FSD v14.2.2 onwards, attention monitoring has become variable. Depending on the interior camera’s visibility and other factors, monitoring of the human supervising Tesla FSD can increase or decrease.

“Camera visibility can lead to increased attention monitoring sensitivity,” state the official release notes of the update (read in full below).
