A T-boned Cybertruck is spotted in Tampa, FL caused by rash driving (video)

The second most talked about feature of the Tesla Cybertruck is its toughness after its rare, unique, and pointy design which is still a matter of debate after years of its original unveiling.

Passenger safety is Tesla’s top priority during the design and engineering process of a vehicle at the company. Even after the product reaches the hands of the customers Tesla keeps improving safety features — thanks to its advanced electronics and software updates.

A Tesla Cybertruck was spotted in Tampa, Florida recently. This Cybertruck was loaded on a tow truck with its passenger side doors bent and wheel arches damaged. A car can also be seen in this short video behind the tow truck, its front trunk has completely vanished, but the passenger cabin seems intact. Signs of a high-speed T-bone accident.

Looking closely at the above photo from the incident, the tires of the Cybertruck were also damaged and completely deflated from the impact. The car that hit the Cybertruck is a Nissan Sentra sedan.

Despite the high-speed T-bone impact, the car does not seem to have penetrated the cabin of the Cybertruck much. This safety does not only come from the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body but is also due to its rigid structural battery pack.

The structural battery floor acts as a solid block that stops large objects like other vehicles from penetrating the Cybertruck cabin. However, still, this Cybertruck has received significant damage and most probably will be declared ‘totaled’ or irreparable. The entire side rail under the doors has also been completely damaged.

However, I tried to find the incident on local news websites but no information was available if anyone was hurt in this incident. Most probably occupants in both the Tesla Cybertruck and the Nissan car were safe with minor injuries.

Some X users are trying to push the narrative that the Cybertruck driver ran a red light and this incident happened. But there is no evidence about the Cybertruck running the red light in this case, thus it’s just misinformation.

A Tesla enthusiast posted a short video of the Cybertruck’s T-bone crash in Tampa, Florida on Reddit. The comments in the Reddit post express that drivers in Tampa are generally aggressive and reckless. This is most probably the reason that this crash happened in the first place.

However, the crown for having the 1st-ever Tesla Cyebrtruck crash is held by California. We spotted the totaled Cyebrtruck at a nearby car dealer where it crashed into the famous Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this month.
