If you’re a Matrix trilogy fan like me and happen to be a Tesla Cybertruck aficionado as well — this wrap is going to knock your socks off.
A Cybertruck owner thought of giving his unorthodox-looking electric pickup truck an even more distinct look by wrapping it in Matrix code (digital rain).
Tesla Cybertruck comes in a plain stainless steel body. If an owner does not like the raw metal look, the truck can be wrapped in any creative way possible.
Previously, we’ve seen wraps in Matte White, Pearl White, and crazy stuff like a mocking Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra. However, nothing comes close to the Matrix code-wrapped Cybertruck when it comes to the attention to detail and effort put into the job.
This unique wrap shows the digital rain of codes, digits, and symbols as we have seen in the Matrix trilogy films. The patterns used in this wrap are almost the same as in the movie saga that features the age of AI and its possible devastating effects almost more than 2 decades ago.
Reportedly, there are two Cybertrucks wrapped in the Matrix code rain pattern. One of these owners belongs to New Jersey. This wrap is done by Wrapmate on these Cybertrucks. Wrapmate brought this unique idea to the Tesla Cybertruck community and it has gained mostly positive reviews from fans and enthusiasts alike.
Wrapmate.com has an online Cybertruck wrap configurator that allows you to select a variety of colors and shades. The special Matrix code rain wrap is not available on their website — perhaps you need to explicitly ask them for this pattern.
According to the owner, the Matrix code visible on his Cybertruck is a 3M vinyl wrap, costing him $4,200 for the total job. He wrote on the CybertruckOwnersClub.com forum:
Thank you! This is 3M vinyl. The total cost with the installation was $4,200. That included multiple rounds of redesigns until I was happy with the design. The wrapmate team WAS EXCELLENT in communication, explaining everything, and coordinating with the installation shop. I will also wrap it in clear PPF to protect it.
