Who needs a PR department when you have an entire army of loyal owners, fans, and enthusiasts — as I predicted in my last week’s report that social media will be filled with FSD Beta limited-release test-drives, it has come to fruition (Release notes below).
Tesla just started rolling out the FSD Beta software release to a limited number of Tesla owners and early access program members considered ‘safe drivers’. This was also the day when Tesla reported its historic 5th profitable quarter.
As soon as some Tesla owners received FSD Beta downloads to their cars and Tesla officially gave the green light to post the demonstration videos. The short clips of the demo are swarming the social media sphere, especially Musk’s favorite Twitter.
@Brandonee916 is one of the first ones to receive the update and an official go-ahead for posting the stuff online. He posted the following FSD Beta UI, as the software is under strict evaluation, we can see how the Autopilot vision is training the Tesla Neural Net with 3D object identification and environmental points evaluation.

@TeslaOwnersSV recorded the video both from inside and outside of his Tesla Model X, taking a right turn in Autopilot FSD Beta mode.
As a regular user of Autopilot in his car, this time the car felt more confident in performing this maneuver after the recent update.
We can also witness the newly updated driving visualizations on his instrument cluster screen.
Testing at it at a roundabout, a Tesla FSD Beta tester said that the car was very cautious when moving ahead. Since this was the first time his Tesla Model 3 with the latest FSD Beta update passed this specific location, this turn will become easier for the rest of the fleet as Tesla AI learns it several times.
Using a visual comparison of the real-world camera feed and Autopilot vision, Tesla shows how its Neural Net sees an intersection. This gives us a very interesting insight into how a trained deep neural net like Tesla’s, envisions the real world inside its brain.
The progress in Tesla Full Self-Driving has made the software package a much more valuable entity, so Tesla has decided to increase its price by $2,000 from next week.

FSD Beta Release Notes
Full Self-Driving is in early limited access Beta and must be used with additional caution. It may do the wrong thing at the worst time, so you must always keep your hands on the wheel and pay extra attention to the road. Do not become complacent.
When Full Self-Driving is enabled your vehicle will make lane changes off-highway, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects, and make the left and right turn. Use Full Self-Driving in limited Beta only if you will pay constant attention to the road, and be prepared to act immediately, especially around blind corners, crossing intersections, and in narrow driving situations.
