FSD v14.1.7 (2025.38.8.7) has been a big upgrade for Cybertruck owners in the US & Canada, because most of these Tesla owners were previously on FSD v13.2.9, which was rolled out back in May.

Coming from FSD v13, Cybertruck owners can feel the significant progress Tesla has made with FSD v14. Only a handful of Tesla owners outside the company got the previous FSD v14.1.5 update. So, most of the Cybertruck owners are getting upgraded from v13.2.9 to v14.1.7 directly.

Most Cybertruck owners who received FSD v14.1.7 are reporting a great experience with this FSD v14 point release. As this is still an FSD (Supervised) update, some issues have been reported as well.

Tesla’s self-driving AI system still needs attentive human supervision to ensure the safety of the vehicle occupants and other road users as well. FSD v14.1.7 (2025.38.8.7) is currently rolling out to HW4 (AI4) Tesla vehicles and the Cybertruck in the United States and Canada.

Cybertruck owner Zack (@BLKMDL3) dubs FSD v14.1.7 “a massive leap over v13” after testing the new version. He further wrote in his X post:

Lane centering is perfect, highway performance was excellent and no lane drift or hugging. Perfect 10/10 there.

Zero brake stutter. Zero. None. Zilch. Saw no hesitations, it shouldn’t have done either. Behavior around pedestrians was not overly cautious either, really dialed.

We took it to a completely full parking garage and it circled until it found a spot, for minutes on end, not the trucks fault- there was not a single spot open in that mall. In this video, I slowed the time lapse down for when it entered so you all could see how well it handled that very tight entrance. The garage was full of traffic and very tight and it still handled it great. Smooth steering input and great low speed and very linear throttle + brake application.

Parking is different than Model 3/Y I’ve driven so far with it where it needs more room, but for its size did great. Might need some polish there, but we had all worst case scenarios for parking so wasn’t really the trucks fault.
