Tesla has slowed the software rollout pace after releasing the main Spring Update (2026.14) last month. However, subversions of the Spring Update have been coming out on an average of one per week.

These subversion point releases mostly contain bug fixes and security patches. Tesla is currently rolling out the software update version 2026.14.6 to its fleet of global cars.

Version 2026.14.6 is a subversion of the 2026 Spring Update. The official release notes mention that this update contains important security fixes. This point release seems to be more stable as Tesla is rolling it out to a wider number of users compared to previous versions.

Tesla OTA Update 2026.14.6 Rollout Status

After the Spring Update subversion 2026.14.3, the newest point release version 2026.14.6 is rolling out fast and wide to Tesla cars globally.

According to Tesla over-the-air (OTA) software tracking statistics data by TeslaFi.com and Tessie.com, as of this writing, around 25-30% of the Tesla global fleet has received the new 2025.14.6 update.

Most of these Tesla cars previously had the Spring Update versions 2026.14, 2026.14.1, 2026.14.2, or 2026.14.3 installed.

The security improvements in the 2026.14.6 update are apparently critical; therefore, Tesla is quickly pushing this new update to all cars that previously had any version of the 2026 Spring Update.

It’s recommended to install the new 2026.14.6 update as soon as it becomes available to improve your car’s software security.

Some Tesla owners have reported on X that Tesla has also tweaked FSD v12.6.4 for HW3 vehicles with the 2026.14.6 firmware update.

Tesla update 2026.14.6 is rolling out ot both legacy HW3 and the new HW4 (AI4) cars. However, the new, sharper car visualizations are only available to Hardware 4 Tesla vehicles.
