Tesla owns and operates the largest electric vehicle charging network in the world. Having 3 months of free DC fast charging (Tesla Supercharging) gives new owners peace of mind in their initial period of ownership of the vehicle. Tesla owners with free Supercharging can also go on long trips without worrying for recharging costs.

On the occasion of this year’s Independence Day, Tesla is offering a special $1,000 discount to the military personnel. Tesla explains the military discount program as:

To honor those who have served our country, we’re offering members of the U.S. military $1,000 off the purchase price of Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X. This offer is available to military veterans, retirees, active duty members and their spouses. There is no limit on the number of vehicles that can be purchased.

Teslas are the most American-made cars. The automaker also highlighted this fact in its July 4th email. The company’s Model Y electric SUV is not only manufactured in the US but most of its parts have been sourced from inside the United States.

Most American for a Reason

Model Y isn’t just American made—it’s the #1 most American-made car you can drive.*

Built in America with American-made parts—and having achieved five-star safety ratings in every category—Tesla is setting the standard for what an American-made car should be.
