It’s now time to start the interesting makeover of Gigafactory Berlin as multiple buildings come to completion. To make its German car factory an attractive place to work, Tesla has now officially invited artists to submit their portfolios if they are interested in covering Giga Berlin in graffiti art.
Artists interested in this unique and historical opportunity should send their best work on Tesla’s dedicated email for this project [email protected].
Since this is a huge plant and there are still several buildings to be constructed in the near and far future, Tesla is going to need an entire team of artists to complete this creative project.
In the days of east and west Germany, the Wall of Berlin’s west side was covered in political graffiti art. Berlin is still considered the graffiti capital of the world, now both the east and west sides have some protected and new graffiti art being painted from time to time. So, Tesla should be stormed with a burst of resumes for the Giga Berlin graffiti art project as there is a good supply of local artists at hand.
It was none other than the vibrant Tesla CEO Elon Musk who said earlier in February that Giga Berlin will be filled with graffiti art. This will seamlessly fuse Tesla’s German car plant with the local culture — thus integrating emotion with work to make it more engaging.
As construction of certain buildings is getting completed, some of the major contractors have started to leave the ground. One of these was the Goldbeck Group from Germany (watch the latest progress from yesterday in the video below).
