Watch Elon Musk’s AMA with Hack Club students

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has conducted a live AMA (ask me anything) session with the young programmers and coders of hackclub.com — the following video contains the whole session with interesting answers from the students.

Elon Musk gave the group of high school coders an interesting challenge to either hack the SpaceX Starlink satellite or the Tesla Mothership (the huge datacenter with billions of miles of autonomous driving data and the host of Tesla Neural Net, probably equipped with the most advanced supercomputers on the planet).

You can follow @hackclub on Twitter to get notified of the live AMA with Elon.

For the last three years, Tesla has been asking coders and hackers to find bugs and exploits in their vehicles and the automaker offers good rewards for doing so. Last year a duo of hackers at the Pwn2Own hacking contest was successful in finding a route through the Model 3 infotainment system to gain control of the car, they left the arena winning a brand new Tesla Model 3.

Elon Musk also held a hackathon party at his house in LA earlier this year to hunt the best programming talent.

To work and climb the ladders at Elon Musk’s companies, one does not need big degrees or mandatory college education but what he is looking for is the next best programmer/coder/hacker who knows his stuff deep, therefore when describing his Tesla’s Neural Net architecture he tweeted that the applicant’s educational background is irrelevant.
