Starbase, Texas — SpaceX moved the Flight 7 Starship upper stage (Ship 33) to the launch site this morning. The vibrant CEO of the private US astronautics company Elon Musk shared the update in a post on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Musk not only shared the status update of Flight 7 Starship but also published some stunning pictures of its Starbase launch site as Ship 33 moved towards the launch tower 1 (Mechazilla).

“Starship to launch tower this morning,” Musk posted on X. SpaceX announced earlier that Starship’s 7th launch and landing-catch test will be attempted on NET Monday, 13 January.

These amazing photos of Starship V2 (Ship 33) depict a futuristic Blade Runner-esque theme of SpaceX’s Starbase launch and Starship production site. The dark hour of the morning and rain added an extra punch of the vibe.

In the picture above, we can see the High Bay and Mega Bay 1 on the left side of Starship while the StarFactory shines on the right side. Enthusiasts are wondering what type of equipment or machinery is visible through the glass panels of Starship factory walls.

According to local observers of Starbase, Boca Chica, Texas — NasaSpaceFlight.com, it was raining while SpaceX transported Ship 33 to the launch site (videos below).

Starship’s massive size can be imagined by looking at cars and humans on the ground beside it. For the record, Starship V2 is taller than the previous generation prototypes and V3 will be even taller and bigger.

Flight 7 Starship Super Heavy Booster (1st stage / Booster 14) is already present at the launch tower and mounted on the Orbital Launch Mount A (OLM / Pad A).

The next big development at the launch site will be the mounting of upper stage Ship 33 onto Booster 14 for a fully integrated Starship for the Flight 7 test (IFT-7). So, stay tuned as we cover further updates and visuals of the Flight 7 Starship launch.
