Tesla (TSLA) did not make customers wait a long time for the 2025 Spring Release over-the-air (OTA) software update. The automaker has started rolling this update to customer cars.

Tesla has assigned the version number 2025.14 to this year’s Spring Update. We covered the detailed Release Notes and features of the Spring Update in our previous post.

Looking at the Spring Update (2025.14) release map on Tessie.com, Tesla has begun the rollout globally. As of this writing, fewer than 1% Tesla owners have received the update. This indicates a slow initial rollout that will eventually become wider as the initial batch testing feedback is mostly positive.

According to another Tesla software release tracking website, TeslaFi.com, the rollout of the 2025 Spring Update has picked up in Europe this morning.

Tesla owners from Sweden, Belgium, France, Norway, and surrounding countries are getting this update. The most number of installs of the Spring Update are from Germany, which is home to Tesla’s Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg.

Tesla released some much-needed and exciting features in the 2025 Spring Release software update.

The tech & AI automaker enabled the B-pillar cameras for recording Sentry Mode events. Tesla enabled the additional two cameras to enhance Tesla owners’ ability to identify the culprits in the wake of the rising vandalism against its cars and the Cybertruck.

Another major feature upgrade for the US & Canada in this update is the unlocking of the ‘Adaptive Matrix LED Headlights’.

Before the Spring Update (2025.14), Tesla matrix headlights only changed angles of reflection according to the curve of the road. With the Spring Update, Tesla cars with the matrix led headlight hardware will adapt to the road conditions. This includes automatically turning individual leds on/off and using high and low beams to reduce glare for oncoming traffic at night.

In the 2025 Spring Update, Cybertruck also received new features and improvements like lane departure avoidance, comfort mode in Autopilot, saving frunk height based on location, and alternative trip plans (navigation upgrade).

If you’re still waiting for this season’s Spring Update to arrive to your Tesla vehicle, be patient, as the wider rollout might even take a couple of weeks to complete globally.

    • Hopefully, it’ll be fixed in the next update. But in the meantime, you can stop by a Tesla Service Center to inquire them about a fix. Doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue because I didn’t hear it from other Tesla owners.
