Elon Musk suggests new names for the Tesla FSD ‘Hurry’ mode

As Elon Musk promised to shift his focus back to his electric vehicle, AI, and robotics company Tesla (TSLA) earlier, the signs are already visible on his X (Twitter) timeline.

A Tesla fan shared on X that he doesn’t like the name ‘Hurry’ of the third and more aggressive Full Self-Driving mode (speed profile), Musk appeared in the discussion to put down his two cents.

“Do you prefer ‘Move It’ or ‘LFGMF’?” the vibrant Tesla CEO asked the community of Tesla owners and enthusiasts. What followed in this thread was a ton of suggestions, not just for the names but also FSD (Supervised) experience with the latest versions (there have been no new updates since FSD v13.2.8 rolled out around two months ago).

So, Musk has given us two options for the new name of the Hurry mode. ‘Move It’ and ‘LFGMF’. So, what does LFGMG stand for? A wise Tesla fan asked Grok (xAI’s chatbot integrated into X) for the full form of this acronym.

Accroding to Grok, LFGMF stands for ‘Lets Freaking Go, Move Fast’. Although Elon could mean something different than what Grok told us. And it could be what your mind interprets.

The majority of Tesla owners and FSD beta testers voted for LFGMF to replace the current Hurry mode. As the name suggests, Hurry mode is comparatively aggressive of the three speed profiles (the other two being Chill and Standard).

Even in a poll on X, LFGMF got the most votes as the next name of the current Hurry mode. Before ‘Hurry’, this mode was called ‘Assertive’. Last year, Tesla renamed Assertive to Hurry. T

Interestingly, Elon Musk suggested the name ‘Hurry’ for this faster FSD mode as well. And he’s going to change it once again.

Although this discussion contains a few pinches of humor, historically, Elon Musk takes these sort of feedbacks seriously. We might just witness this actually coming to Tesla cars in the next FSD (Supervised) OTA updates.
