Tesla (TSLA) has once again rolled out a new FSD v14 (Supervised) point release subversion v14.1.4 to the early access beta testers group of influencers.
FSD v14.1.4 (firmware version 2025.32.8.16) is the latest installment of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving AI software as of this writing. The previous version FSD v14.1.3 went out to a larger number of Tesla owners outside the early access circle.
Tesla is expected to roll out a wide release with the upcoming FSD v14.2. Currently, FSD v14.1.4 and v14.1.3 combined consist of around 4% of the Tesla fleet.
Release notes for FSD v14.1.4 remain the same as the previous version (read below).
FSD v14.1.4 Backing Up At a Stop Light
Tesla owners and FSD beta testers are still exploring the newly-added safety and autonomy features in FSD v14 and its point release subversions.
Owner of an AI4 Tesla Model Y and a Cybertruck, Chuck Cook encountered a unique scenario while testing his Model Y on FSD v14.1.4. When faced by a large truck at a stoplight, FSD v14.1.4 put the vehicle in reverse automatically and backed up to give room to the truck.
Chuck Cook was amazed to experience such a safety and precautionary scenario demonstrated by Tesla FSD v14 (watch below to be amazed as well).
FSD v14.1.3 Reverses to Give Room
In similar scenarios, the previous version of FSD v14.1.3 reversed the Tesla car to give room to pedestrians and other vehicles. This was done to prevent a possible collision with the other vehicle or just for the sake of courtesy.
This new behavior observed in FSD v14’s subversions suggests that the real-world AI is actually starting to show off in Tesla vehicles. It’s a human-like behavior that shows the vehicle can adjust to such difficult scenarios.
Last month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that by FSD v14.2, the car will feel sentient. The signs are already starting to appear in the current FSD releases (check out the videos shared by Tesla FSD testers below).

- Added Arrival Options for you to select where FSD should park: in a Parking Lot, on the Street, in a Driveway, in a Parking Garage, or at the Curbside.
- Added handling to pull over or yield for emergency vehicles (e.g. police cars, fire trucks, ambulances).
- Added navigation and routing into the vision-based neural network for real-time handling of blocked roads and detours.
- Added additional speed profile to further customize driving style preference.
- Improved handling for static and dynamic gates.
- Improved offsetting for road debris (e.g. tires, tree branches, boxes).
- Improve handling of several scenarios including: unprotected turns, lane changes, vehicle cut-ins, and school buses.
- Improved FSD’s ability to manage system faults and recover smoothly from degraded operation for enhanced reliability.
- Added alerting for residue build-up on interior windshield that may impact front camera visibility. If affected, visit Service for cleaning!
