Tesla (TSLA) has confirmed that the Roadster unveiling event will be live-streamed tomorrow. As usual, this hyped event will be streamed live exclusively on Musk-owned social media platform X tomorrow.
Tesla originally scheduled the next-generation Roadster unveiling for October 1. However, high winds and flood warnings in Texas delayed the highly anticipated reveal event.
Tomorrow (Thursday, October 15, 2026), Tesla will live stream the next-gen Roadster unveiling at 7:55 PM CST / 5:55 PM PDT / 8:55 PM EDT.
Tesla hasn’t officially confirmed the exact location of the Roadster unveiling. The only information available is that it will happen in Waco, Texas, roughly 90 minutes north of Tesla’s global HQ and Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.
Reportedly, Tesla will conduct the next-gen Roadster reveal at its rocket testing facility in McGregor, Texas (30-40 minutes from downtown Waco, TX).
Tesla needs an open space area for the Roadster’s SpaceX thrusters demonstration. However, a recent Electric Fan Car patent casts doubt on the integration of pressurized cold-gas thrusters into the 2nd-generation Roadster.
Timing is Everything
Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented on Tesla’s official live-stream announcement, saying, “Timing is everything.”
This statement isn’t just about the event starting on time. Musk is also hinting at the next-gen Roadster’s 0-60 mph time.
However, in his most recent 2024 statement, he hinted that the next-gen Roadster could go from 0 to 60 mph in under 1 second.
It will be interesting to watch as Tesla puts on a show with this extreme acceleration tomorrow. However, according ot Musk, it’s the least interesting part about the upcoming Tesla Roadster.
Stay tuned as we will bring you live coverage of the next-gen Roadster unveiling, starting about half an hour before the event at 7:55 PM Central Time (8:55 PM Eastern Time).
