It has been more than 10 days since Tesla first released the latest FSD v14.3.13. It includes firmware version 2026.38.5.11, the most widely installed Full Self-Driving update on both Hardware 4 (HW4/AI4) and Hardware 3 (HW3) cars.
As of this writing, more than 30% of the Tesla fleet is on FSD v14.3.13 and FSD v14.3 Lite (2026.38.5.11). Users are now testing this new release extensively, and we have enough reviews to reach a verdict.
Multiple reviews indicate that Tesla FSD v14.3.13 is a regression from the previous version (FSD v14.3.12). Although Tesla quickly transitioned from the previous release to the new v14.3.13, hinting at bug fixes, the net result is not very convincing.
FSD v14.3.13 is also showing signs of regression on the Cybertruck (video below).

FSD v14.3.13 Reviews
Accident on a Left Turn
In one recent video, a Tesla Model Y Juniper (HW4) was involved in an accident while making an unprotected left turn (UPL) across two lanes.
Tesla FSD came to a complete stop and waited patiently before attempting the left turn until the oncoming traffic stopped to give way to the Model Y.
However, as the Tesla turned left, a fast car approaching from the oncoming far right lane hit the front of the Model Y. The Tesla owner shared the following FSD video clip from the in-car recording of the incident.
The owner of the Model Y, using FSD 14.3.13, wrote in the video’s description:
If I wouldn’t have braked I probably would have been badly injured. FSD TURNS in to a 2 lane if closest lane stops to let you pass it doesn’t consider the other lane it needs to pass.
FSD v14.3.13 Squirrel Test Fail
A Tesla owner using FSD v14.3.13 faced an animal safety scenario. A squirrel tried to cross the road and appeared from the right side so fast that it did not leave time to react.
The small squirrel was standing in the dark shade of a tree before attempting to cross the road. The shade made it almost impossible to detect, even to the human eye.
It all happened in a matter of a second (literally). Tesla did show saving a kitten at a dark hour in its Robotaxi safety video; however, it was from Unsupervised FSD v15, not the Supervised FSD v14 the Tesla car had in the following squirrel-fail video.
Delayed Highway Exits
Multiple users are reporting that Tesla FSD v14.3.13 is still taking highway exits a bit late. It’s a bit distressing when it takes exits from the right side and changes lanes too late from the middle to the right lane.
The following video shows this behavior. However, some users say this isn’t a regression. Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) has performed similarly in this specific scenario for quite a while.

Regressions on the Cybertruck
A Tesla Cybertruck owner reported the following FSD v14.3.13 regressions on X:
I have experienced a large regression from previous versions going back maybe 6 months. Some common issues now that haven’t been an issue since early days of v14:
- Truck will no longer back into garage and park. This was perfect for months prior, now for my home destination the “charger” option has disappeared and it just stops in the driveway.
- It sees phantom people in the driveway and bottom of the drive causing brake stabbing and the need to hit the accelerator to move.
- Pulling over for construction vehicles with flashing lights on the highway.
- pulling into right turn only lanes then merging back over.
- trying to use turn lanes and accelerating lanes to pass vehicles the second the solid lines end. But these are merge lanes and end a hundred feet ahead.
Again, these were issues in early versions of v14 but were all but solved for me most of the summer. With .11-.13 I be noticed a slow regression of it reverting back to these bad tendencies with .13 being especially bad.
