Cybertruck held the Trump Hotel blast impact so well, Elon Musk thinks Tesla can get it running again

Tesla Cybertruck once again proves itself as the toughest vehicle in production today. A blast inside a Cybertruck at the valet area of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas proved it’s really made for the Apocalypse era.

The new year at the Trump Hotel, Las Vegas started with an unexpected terrorist attack at the President-elect Donald Trump-owned hotel in Las Vegas. Since Elon Musk is Trump’s closest ally, the terrorist chose a Cybertruck to carry out the blast.

Various footage of security cameras around and inside the Trump Hotel shared on mainstream and social media showed the before, during, and after the blast situation. The aftermath pictures shared by the Las Vegas Police showed the Cybertruck’s intact body after the blast and fire.

As we can witness the condition of the Cybertruck after the blast in the picture above, it contained it very well. The body panels stayed intact and even the tires didn’t deflate. Only the glasses of windows, roof, and windshield of the Cybertruck broke due to the explosion.

The person driving the Cybertruck is the only one deceased in this incident. If we look at the Cybertruck blast videos below, we can see that a person was standing behind the truck and was able to escape the blast safely.

Cybertruck’s 30x stainless steel body contained the impact of the blast and fire so perfectly that even the large glass panels of the Trump Hotel lobby weren’t shattered or even cracked.

Updates by the Las Vegas Police Department

Mainstream media (MSM) at first speculated that this was an explosion of the Cybertruck’s battery. Initial investigations showed that there were fireworks and explosives stored in the Cybertruck and the blast was probably triggered by a remote-controlled detonation device.

Las Vegas Metropolitan PD Sheriff Kevin McMahill and Jeremy Schwartz of the FBI held a joint press conference to give updates on the incident. The LVM Police Chief also praised the Tesla Cybertruck as it helped limit the damage to people and property around it. He stated:

The fact that this was a Cybertruck, really limited the damage that occurred inside of the valet because it had most of the blast go up through the truck and out.

In fact, if you look on that video, you’ll see that the front glass doors at the Trump Hotel were not even broken by that blast which they were parked directly in front of.

Elon Musk Shares Tesla Investigation

Tesla CEO Elon Musk released a statement on X yesterday saying that a senior team of Tesla officials is investigating this matter and the findings will be shared publicly. Several hours later, he posted another statement to confirm that the blast was not caused by the Cybertruck battery.

He said:

We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.

All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.

In Elon Musk’s opinion, the damage that the Cybertruck took in the Trump Hotel blast was held so efficiently that it’s possible to get the truck running again after fixing it. If in the near future, the same truck gets running again too, it will both be iconic and ironic at the same time — in the history of automotive manufacturing.
