Tesla (TSLA) is offering customers a 0% APR (annual percentage rate) if they order the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant of the Cybertruck and purchase the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package.

I received the 0% APR offer email a few days ago. Tesla has also updated its online Cybertruck order configurator to reflect the 0% APR offer. The email reads:

Let your Cybertruck do the driving. With Full Self-Driving (Supervised) engaged, your Cybertruck can steer, respond to traffic signs and change lanes for you, under your active supervision.

Eligible buyers can get 0% APR financing for up to 60 months when you take delivery of a new Cybertruck by June 30, 2025, with the purchase of Full Self-Driving (Supervised).

Tesla has tied the 0% APR offer for the Cybertruck with the purchase of the Autopilot FSD package. This offer expires on 30th June 2025.

The price of the Cybertruck AWD variant is $79,990. The optional FSD package costs $8,000 extra. So, with the 0% APR, the Cybertruck AWD will cost you a total of $87,990 (if you don’t add any other premium options).

I used Tesla’s online calculator for financing the Cybertruck AWD at 0% APR, which gave me an estimated montly payment of $1,416 with a $4,999 down payment (screenshot below).

With the 0% APR offer, Tesla is creating a chance for Cybertruck owners to experience its evolving Full Self-Drivng technology. Tesla regularly deploys free over-the-air Cybertruck FSD updates to improve the performance of the AI-based self-driving software.

With an expanded Cybertruck FSD user base, Tesla will have a lot more data to train its neural net vision to adjust to the electric pickup truck’s unique dimensions and triangular edges.

Tesla’s overall sales were down in the first quarter. The electric automaker is offering various incentives before June 30 to boost car delivery numbers for the second quarter.

Reportedly, Tesla has a sizable inventory of unsold Cybertruck units. New incentives and offers might help clear the inventory and let the pickup truck enthusiasts try this unconventional design. According to several Cybertruck owners, it grows on them as time passes, especially the steer-by-wire feature, which makes driving easier and pleasurable.

Related: Tesla introduced a similar 0% APR incentive for Model 3 and Model Y last year that ended on 15th December 2024.
