Vertical integration and the introduction of amazing merchandise from time to time is the specialty of Tesla, Inc. The 21st-century automaker has launched another super hit product, the Tesla Cyberwhistle. The product that costs $50 has sold out completely within hours of it appearing on the Tesla online store.
“Inspired by Cybertruck, the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a premium collectible made from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish. The whistle includes an integrated attachment feature for added versatility,” the description in Tesla’s online store explains the product.
From the side view, the Cyberwhistle almost looks like the Tesla Cybertruck, inspired by the non-conventional pickup truck’s low poly design.
Tesla’s Elon Musk tweeted the Cyberwhistle through his official Twitter account, “Blow the whistle on Tesla!,” he stated on Twitter.
“Don’t waste your money on that silly Apple Cloth, buy our whistle instead!,” Musk threw a jab at Apple Polishing Cloth in a follow-up tweet. Apple’s polishing cloth costs $19 apiece and experts are brainstorming why a piece of cloth costs that much.
As soon as the news of the launch of the Cyberwhistle broke, Tesla enthusiasts rushed to the Tesla online shop website to get their hands on one of the Cyberwhitles this holiday season.
Since the Cyberwhistle is a “limited-edition” product, this might become a rare collector’s item in the future, increasing in value as time passes.
In July last year, Tesla launched the famous (or infamous) Short Shorts, the traffic that rushed to buy this product even broke the Tesla website hosting servers at the time.
Just recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that he’s willing to start a university in Texas named Texas Institute of Technology & Science. The special thing about this educational institution will be its epic merchandise.
Musk always has new ideas for bringing new merchandise to his customers, with the Cyberwhistle launch, he has hit the right cord once again.
Tesla is preparing the Gigafactory Austin, Texas to start production of the Cybertruck in 2022 — till then, keep whistling the Cyberwhistle.
