A Tesla Cybertruck was seen with a large screen mounted on its rear end. Interestingly, the display of the screen was turned on and it showed some visuals while the Cybertruck drove at highway speeds.
This is probably one of the rarest sights on public roads — having an entire television attached to the tailgate of your pickup truck.
The LED screen is apparently stacked and mounted on the rear bumper of the Cybertruck. It also seems to be attached to the tailgate of the truck to keep it sturdy.
Someone driving behind this truck on the highway quickly grabbed their phone to record a short video of this funny and interesting event.
The screen mounted on the Cybertruck showed some text and 3D graphics along the way. This is most probably an advertisement. However, due to the distance that the video was recorded, the text and visuals are not clear enough to identify their exact details.
With an odd vehicle such as a Cybertruck, you can expect the unexpected. Installing such a screen that distracts other drivers on the road is illegal in most parts of the world and of course in the United States as well.
You might be wondering how this TV screen mounted on the back of the Cybertruck in the video above is powered. Tesla Cybertruck has 120v and 240v outlets available in its bed. These are intended to provide power to field equipment and even charge other Teslas and electric vehicles.
The Afeela electric concept car, a joint venture between Sony and Honda has a small integrated screen in its front fascia. This screen shows various information, videos, and PlayStation video streams. This screen despite being installed on the front and not so distracting is still a matter of debate for regulatory approvals and its legality.
