Tesla (TSLA) is celebrating the end of production of its iconic Model S and Model X EVs. For this, Tesla launched the limited-edition Model S and Model X Plaid Signature earlier this month.

250 Model S and 250 Model X Signature versions in Garnet Red color were up for grabs. The entire 500 stock was reported to be sold out earlier this week.

On Tuesday, May 12, Tesla is gathering Model S Signature owners and Tesla influencers to celebrate the Deliveries of these vehicles. The event will take place at the company’s Fremont factory, the birthplace and the only production facility of these cars.

The Model S/X Signature Delivery Event is invite-only. The good news is that the invited participants are allowed to bring a plus one (18 years or older).

Tesla sent out the following invitation emails to the chosen ones:

Signature Edition Delivery Event

May 12, 2026

Tesla Fremont, CA

Join us for an invite-only celebration of the first of the last deliveries of Model S and Model X Signature Edition—ever.

During the event, you’ll get to enjoy refreshments and purchase Signature Edition merchandise. You may even be able to take delivery of your Signature Edition vehicle.

Submit your RSVP before midnight on Friday, April 24, 2026, to attend. You will receive an email with more information once your ticket is confirmed.

Tickets are non-transferable. IDs will be checked upon arrival at the event. You must be 18 years or older to attend.

Plus ones are permitted.

So, if you know someone who has reserved a Signature Model S or X and received the invitation, it might be a good opportunity to join the event as a plus one. A little asking doesn’t hurt.

Some of the 500 Signature Edition Tesla Model S and Model X will be delivered on 12th May. From the invite email, it seems that Tesla will be randomly selecting owners for delivery.

Getting the delivery on the event day might also depend on the number assigned to you in the order queue. Every Signature Model S and X will have a unique edition series badging (from 1-250).

Tesla CEO Elon Musk had announced this event earlier this month without specific details. He remembered the 14-year legacy of Tesla’s pioneering Model S luxury sedan.
