Tesla (TSLA) started rolling out the new Full Self-Driving (FSD) OTA software update version 13.2.7 on the weekend. This update is a point-release subversion of the FSD v13.2.6 update that the automaker released last week.

Interestingly, we have entered into the 2nd month of 2025 but the firmware versions for FSD software updates are still from the main 2024 build. This is why the firmware version numbers are still starting from 2024.

The firmware version for FSD v13.2.7 is 2024.45.32.15. The release notes for this new FSD v13 update are the same as the previous point release (no change).

The Tesla AI team did not mention any specific enhancements made in the FSD v13.2.7 update from the last version. However, experienced beta testers like Chuck Cook and Black Tesla reviewed this latest version of the tech and AI automaker’s self-driving system.

FSD v13.2.7 came around a week after the FSD v13.2.6 update. This is a rather quick update as in the past few weeks, the rollout has been slower due to the inclusivity of Cybertruck FSD and HW3/AI3 cars which recently got the FSD v12.6.3 update.

According to the Tesla software rollout tracking website TeslaScope.com, the first wave of FSD v13.2.6 was limited to the early access group of beta testers. However, the 2nd wave that started yesterday evening is going to a larger number of non-employee Tesla car owners.

FSD tracking data at TeslaFi.com suggests that the majority of beta testers are still on the previous version (13.2.6). Tesla is gradually upgrading users to FSD v13.2.7 as data from existing users is received and passes the safety requirements in real-world testing.

Chuck Cook (U-Turn, UPL, Three-Point Turn)

YouTuber and Tesla influencer Chuck Cook tested the FSD v13.2.7 update on his AI4 Tesla Model Y on the weekend. Tesla AI team has been working hard to teach Autopilot FSD his unprotected left turn (UPL) and similar scenarios.

Over the last 1 year, Tesla employees have been testing Chuck Cook’s UPL in Model Ys and Cybertrucks for neural net training. Chuck also provides valuable testing and visual data to Tesla by putting FSD into difficult scenarios.

In the FSD v13.2.7 test, Chuck took his AI4 Model Y to evaluate it on unprotected U-turns, UPLs, and a three-point turn in Jacksonville, FL. His expectations of any major improvements from the previous version was low because it’s a tiny point-release update.

FSD v13.2.7 performed well on a new UPL that was without an island. The vehicle turned at the perfect moment keeping an eye on traffic from both the left and right and moved into the center lane which was quite logical.

Let’s take a look at more of his testing in the following video.

Black Tesla

FSD YouTuber Black Tesla tested FSD v13.2.7 in the New York City traffic. While other human drivers received violation tickets around him, Tesla Autopilot managed to stay away from earning the car owner a traffic ticket.

Let’s watch his interesting and serene driving in NYC in the following video.
