According to a leaked agreement between Tesla and Target stores has suggested that both companies are aiming to increase the presence of Tesla Superchargers at 42 Target stores across the United States.

I covered the initial story of Target publishing a press-release in 2018 that the company is willing to host EV and Tesla charging to its stores. This was just the spark of the wave of Tesla Supercharger expansion hitting Target stores in the future.

This document is actually an ‘Authorization’ by Target that allows Tesla to file ‘Supercharger Permit Applications’. Target has identified the following locations to have a Tesla Supercharger installation.

The Tesla Supercharger Network is one of the main advantages that Tesla has over the traditional automakers. Currently, there are over 2,000 Supercharger locations across the globe that house more than 17,000 Supercharger stalls.

VW, Audi, and Mercedes can build electric cars but having access to such an abundance of charging options is currently beyond their capability.
