Yesterday we reported on the initial rollout of Tesla’s new FSD Beta v11.3.3 (firmware version 2022.45.12). Within the passage of around 24 hours of its initial release, a large number of Tesla owners from the US and Canada reported they have received this update.
After early beta testers reported several regressive issues with the previous 11.3.2 update, Tesla urgently rolled out a new version within a week.
However, hopefully, the new FSD Beta update v11.3.3 is expected to have resolved the regressive issues. But being a beta testing software, it shouldn’t be expected as perfect or final.
Active Tesla Community member Sawyer Merritt first posted on Twitter that he’s getting reports of a massive wave of new Tesla owners getting enrolled as FSD Beta testers.
After looking at the software tracking stats provided by Teslafi.com and TeslaScope.com, v11.3.3 is indeed getting rolled out faster and wider.
As of this writing, a total of 548 Tesla owners have already downloaded and installed FSD Beta v11.3.3 and 591 a re pending installations. These numbers are out of more than 19,000 contributing Tesla vehicles on TeslaFi.com.
While on TeslaScope, 219 Tesla cars are now on FSD Beta v11.3.3 while 194 installations are pending. These are out of an estimated 15,000 data-contributing vehicles on the website.
As the number of FSD Beta 11.3.3 is increasing, the number of v11.3.2 is decreasing because Tesla is upgrading the previous version to the latest quickly.
But, not only v11 users are getting the new update, the older v10 owners are also getting the latest FSD Beta version. Sawyer Merritt said in a tweet that his car was on a v10.69 subversion which is now updated to FSD Beta v11.3.3 directly.

With each iteration of Tesla’s FSD Beta, the automaker is relentlessly trying to smoothen the self-driving experience for Tesla owners. So, it is important to keep a keen eye on the improvements even if they are smaller.
A handful of FSD Beta testers post their experiences on YouTube and Twitter which helps track the progress of Tesla’s self-driving efforts.
Chuck Cook and Black Tesla were among the first ones to provide us with early first impressions of FSD Beta v11.3.3 as they were the first ones to get their hands on this update. Let’s watch how v11.3.3 performs in real-world self-driving situations.
Black Tesla
During the initial testing, Black Tesla’s Model S Plaid performed better while navigating city streets on Autopilot FSD Beta 11.3.3. But on the first unprotected left turn (UPL), the car was still a little unconfident because of being over-cautious of its surroundings.
Chuck Cook
While on the other hand during the testing of FSD Beta v11.3.3 on his test loop in Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida — Chuck Cook experienced improvements in this update.
On an unprotected left turn, his Tesla Model Y took the turn a bit aggressively. While the oncoming vehicle from the left was waiting, Chuck’s Tesla was not confused at all and took the turn keeping a tight distance from the stationary vehicle.
